Platform

Build an AI agent that knows your business — and knows what to do.

The building blocks to create AI phone agents around the way your business actually operates. Build the agent, give it knowledge, define your procedures, connect your tools, and control what happens to the call.

Platform Overview

A useful AI phone agent needs more than the ability to have a conversation. It needs to understand its job, reach the right information, know how your business handles different situations, use tools to take action, and know when to bring a human in.

AI Call Control gives you the building blocks to create AI phone agents around the way your business actually operates: give your agent a job, give it knowledge, define your procedures, connect your tools, and control what happens to the conversation — then put it to work across inbound and outbound conversations.

One agent. Five questions.

Agent Builder

Build and configure an AI phone agent through a simple guided setup. Define its role, instructions, voice, greeting, phone number, tools, business procedures, and call-handling behavior — without building the underlying AI infrastructure yourself.

Every agent starts with a purpose: an AI receptionist, a lead-qualification agent, an AI fronter, an intake agent, an after-hours agent, a routing agent, or something unique to your business. You don’t need a perfect prompt to start — AICC can help generate the instructions that turn your objective into a working agent, then walk you from initial setup through a complete, deployable agent.

Knowledge Base

Give your AI agent the information it needs to understand your business and answer real customer questions. Instead of packing everything into a prompt, build a knowledge base the agent can reference during conversations.

Give your agent real business context

  • Products & services — what you offer and how to answer questions about it
  • Frequently asked questions — the answers your team handles over and over
  • Policies — requirements and policies callers need to understand
  • Business information — locations, hours, service areas, departments
  • Process information — what happens next and how your business works

Knowledge provides context; procedures provide direction. Keeping them separate makes your agent easier to build and easier to update — change the knowledge without rebuilding the agent.

Business Procedures

Knowledge tells your agent what it knows. Procedures tell it what to do. Define how your business wants specific situations handled — the questions to ask, the information to collect, the guardrails to follow, and what should happen next.

Define what needs to happen

  • Ask the right questions — specify the information that matters in each situation
  • Set qualification criteria — different answers lead to different outcomes
  • Establish guardrails — what the agent should do, shouldn’t do, and its boundaries
  • Define the next step — continue with the AI, route, transfer, or start another process

Procedures provide structure while the conversation stays conversational. The caller simply explains what they need; your procedures operate underneath it — a world away from “Press 1 for Sales, Press 2 for Service.”

Tools & MCP

Talking is useful. Taking action is better. AI Call Control extends your agents beyond the conversation with tools they can use to retrieve information, interact with business systems, and take action while handling a call.

Through the Model Context Protocol (MCP) — an open standard for connecting AI applications to external tools and data — your agent isn’t limited to a short list of integrations we decided to build. Connect an MCP server, make its tools available to your agent, then define when and how they should be used.

What that can unlock

  • CRM — look up a contact, create a lead, update a record
  • Scheduling — check availability and create an appointment
  • Customer service — retrieve information, create or update a ticket
  • Orders & inventory — look up an order, check status or availability
  • Workflows — create a task, trigger an automation, start a process

Tools provide capability; procedures provide control. The exact capabilities depend on the tools and permissions exposed by the MCP servers connected to your agent.

Call Handling & Handoff

Not every conversation needs a person, and not every conversation should stay with AI. AICC routes conversations based on understanding rather than buttons — it can qualify the caller, collect what your team needs, route different callers differently, transfer qualified opportunities, and hand off to a human when the situation calls for it.

You decide where people belong

  • Define where calls go — people, teams, departments, or destinations
  • Define when calls transfer — on qualification, on request, on a specific situation, or when a next step needs a person
  • Fallback behavior — what happens when the intended destination isn’t available

The destination is determined by what happened in the conversation — not which button the caller pressed five minutes earlier.

Hear the difference for yourself.

Don't just read about an AI phone agent. Call one. Ask questions, interrupt it, change the subject, and see how it handles a real conversation.
